Hackers at MIT, and later the Living Computer Museum, set an AM radio beside the machine and listened to its loops as tones. The recordings survive. This is the plan for The emulator to make the same sound: from the machine's memory cycles, at any speed. It asks Lars Brinkhoff and the museums for a few careful recordings to check it against.
